Their database is maintained on a daily basis, unlike those of many other organizations who rely on the last form 990 filed with the IRS (information that is already well over a year out of date.) Their easy-to-use website is a fantastic tool for grantseekers, grantwriters, and anyone looking to see what funding is out there. I use it all the time for my own research.
