Here's the secret: this very friendly site is actually put out by the IRS, although it doesn't look like it at first. It has virtual web workshops - you can choose to listen or read - with friendly cartoon characters and an easy navigation. It includes games you can play to test yourself. (Okay, I admit that I loved the games.) There are also mini online courses, including several on filling out form 990 (required for all non profits now) and on tax exempt status. Useful and well put together. It's relatively idiot proof, which is good, since most of us are idiots about taxes.
